Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Authorization Rep (Los Angeles, CA):
Process and manage disability paperwork, procedure authorizations, and referrals efficiently. Verify patient demographics and insurance information using CS-Link/Epic systems. Handle patient and provider correspondence with professionalism and accuracy. Complete and manage disability forms for patients, ensuring compliance with guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to department sanitation protocols.
Required Skills for Authorization Rep (Los Angeles, CA):
Proven experience in processing disability paperwork, authorizations, and referrals. Familiarity with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans. At least one year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting. Strong ability to comprehend and follow detailed oral and written instructions.
