IDR is seeking a Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Downers Grove, IL. Position Overview for the Business Analyst:
- Act as a liaison between business users and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate complex financial and investment concepts into clear, actionable product or system requirements.
- Work closely with portfolio managers, operations, and data teams to enhance processes and system functionality.
- Define and prioritize product features, develop user stories, and manage the product backlog.
- Support testing, validation, and rollout of new capabilities and enhancements.
Requirements for the Business Analyst:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner within Asset Management, Private Credit, or Private Markets.
- Strong understanding of investment workflows, fund structures, deal lifecycle, and portfolio management systems.
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development best practices.
