Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Network Engineer:
Serve as a dedicated resource to address and resolve chronic network issues across multiple store locations.
Collaborate with internal engineers, external vendors, and managed service providers to troubleshoot and remediate connectivity problems.
Focus on issues related to the Palo Alto/Prisma SD-WAN platform and WAN connectivity, including broadband and cellular connections.
Identify and resolve Wi-Fi coverage gaps, assist with deployment adjustments, and manage switch-related hardware issues involving Juniper equipment.
Maintain proactive communication, detailed reporting, and consistent progress tracking through ServiceNow to stabilize network performance.
Required Skills for Network Engineer:
Over 7 years of experience as a Network Engineer in an enterprise environment, particularly within retail or multi-site locations.
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto hardware, Prisma/CloudGenix SD-WAN, and WAN connectivity (broadband, cable modems).
Proficiency with Inseego and Juniper switch hardware, as well as Aruba access points.
Current CCNA certification is essential.
