Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant: Perform a range of lease accounting tasks, including accruals/deferrals, lease valuations, and sales-based rent calculations.
Execute month-end close activities accurately and on schedule, including journal entries, approvals, and variance analysis.
Collaborate with accounting teams across multiple regions.
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards (IFRS/ASC) and maintain strong internal controls.
Support internal and external audit activities, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Assist with ad hoc projects and special assignments as required.
Required Skills for the Sr. Accountant:3+ years of Accounting experience with big corporate high volume environments
Expert in Excel and ERP Systems
Familiar with leasing standards: IFRS16/ASC842
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred Skills:
SAP
