IDR is seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Solutions Specialist to join one of our top clients in Los Angeles, California. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team to enhance and optimize the ServiceNow platform, focusing on the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Position Overview/Responsibilities for the ServiceNow CMDB Solutions Specialist:
Serve as the primary liaison between Live Operations, Enterprise Architecture, and Enterprise Technology stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
Translate stakeholder requests into business requirements, balancing them with ServiceNow best practices and current configurations.
Support the definition of relationships and dependencies between Configuration Items (CIs) in line with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
Monitor platform performance, optimize configurations, and troubleshoot CMDB-related issues.
Develop and maintain documentation, models, and guidelines for CMDB usage, and provide training on data model standards and platform updates.
Required Skills for ServiceNow CMDB Solutions Specialist:
Minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing CMDB in ServiceNow.
Proven experience implementing a CMDB in ServiceNow, particularly in environments with 20,000+ CIs.
Strong understanding of data models and business requirements.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team of developers and solutions specialists.
Experience in a Business/Process Analyst role with technical knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB.
