- Lead and manage multiple software development teams across enterprise applications
- Oversee the full software development life-cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and support
- Building robust, custom business applications from the ground-up/scratch
- Collaborate with program area stakeholders to understand business needs and help translate them into technical solutions
- Provide hands-on technical guidance in various technologies such as .NET and relational SQL databases
- Experience building and leading development of ETL, data-centralization for reporting consumption
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with contracted development resources
- Ensure code quality, security, and performance through code reviews and best practices
- Develop and track project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability
Required Skills for the Software Development Manager:
- 8+ years’ experience supporting .Net applications and managing enterprise development teams
- 5+ years’ experience supporting ETL projects and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL)
- 5+ years’ experience working in Government or Education enterprise solutions
