Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Technical Support Engineer:The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for managing and resolving challenging issues for client partners & customers. This includes developing subject matter expertise within the customer support department and mentoring junior team members in the various technologies. The successful candidate will be able to quickly gain an understanding of the ServiceNow platform. This is a customer-facing role in a very collaborative environment and therefore it requires strong interpersonal skills. We are looking for an experienced engineer with a passion for excellence.
Required Skills for Technical Support Engineer
- 2+ years’ Experience supporting external customers with troubleshooting difficult technical issues
- 2+ years' Experience writing &debugging Object Oriented code in Java & JavaScript
- Experience working with dynamic HTML components: AJAX, JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS, XML, HTML, XHTML
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience administering: Linux, Unix OR Microsoft Server
- Must have experience within ServiceNow Platforms
- Experience supporting any bi-directional automated integrations between two systems
