Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Technical Support Developer - Platforms:The Platform Support Engineer will be responsible for managing and resolving the most challenging issues for the ServiceNow platform. The Engineer will be a part of the Platform Technologies team; This team supports external clients in resolving technical issues that come into the que related to ServiceNow platform issues IE; Reporting cases, dashboards, performance analytics, AI search, NLU (Native Language), etc. We're seeking candidates with a strong database background with understanding of database tables and experience validating data on the back end.
Top Skills:
- 2+ years’ Experience supporting external customers with troubleshooting difficult technical issues
- 2+ years’ experience providing technical support to relational databases; MySQL or PostGres
- 2+ years’ experience Supporting/administering Linux environments
- Must have experience in Unix Shell – Utilizing shell scripting to automate tasks
- Must have experience within database tables & validating data on the back end of databases
- Must be strong in reading & writing JavaScript
- Experience using or supporting ServiceNow platforms
