Position Overview/Responsibilities for the UX Designer:- Overseeing/UI designs to ensure design decisions are grounded in user experience and adhere to agency-wide design standards and industry-wide best practices
- Translating research into user stories, requirements, flows, wireframes, and prototypes and collaborating on the future product roadmap
- Employing user testing and outreach to ensure products meets the needs of the end users, in collaboration with partners
- Partnering with the product team and other key stakeholders, including senior leadership, on design solutions and rationales; collaborating with internal and external teams of product designers, developers, and product managers
Required Skills for the UX Designer:- 8+ years’ experience in software product development, digital design, UX/UI or a related field
- 8+ years’ experience designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices
- 2+ years’ experience working for or closely with TEA or another state or local education agency
